LEARN

“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”

In an industry moving at a million miles an hour how can you possibly keep up? This is not a curation of stories and news in cleantech though. There are plenty of newsletters and newsfeeds for that.

These are the things that stand out to me as useful and interesting and worthy of sharing.  It could be about technology, but most likely about people, business and entreprenuership. Books, articles, podcasts, videos and events. Places and things I learn from, so maybe you can too?

EV Summit – online series

Some really interesting stimulus packages launched and planned across Europe and the US, What does this all mean for the emobility sector? How can we make sure we create businesses and jobs now when they are most needed? Join the conversation.

Smarter Mobility Europe

I was fortunate to attend and speak at Smarter Mobility Africa. Ben and his team have done an extraordinary job of creating these events online during the COVID lockdowns. I expect this to be no different. Some great speakers lined up, including a few clients and friends.

The Fully Charged Guide to Electric Vehicles and Clean Energy

More one for those you love (or hate) that don’t know about the cleantech world you live in. A great guide and overview for those keen to learn and gain an understanding. Yes, I also wrote the chapter on Disruption!

The Future we Choose

I was recommended this book my a number of people, so duly had it delivered. I was disappointed to find myself disappointed!

Don’t get me wrong, it has hugely important themes and a great message, ‘There is hope’. Maybe its’ just I live this stuff everyday, or maybe right now the dystopian part is too real and raw! Read it, share it, it has useful tips on technology and mindset. Maybe better for those earlier in their journey?!

The ‘Leaders in Cleantech’ Podcast

So far I have interviewed over 50 CEOs, VCs, and industry insiders. They share their stories, battle scars, victories, industry and technology insights, and visions of the future.
